In this section I attempted to include those research papers or studies which were more long term in their scope. Some of these studies have taken place over 10 years, others spanning just 2. With an aging population of people with cerebral palsy it's important that this condition be studied over long periods of time in order to better understand how the condition can change over time. While cerebral palsy by definition is not a progressive condition, often not getting any worse with age, how a person's body copes with the condition and it's accompanying disorders can vary greatly as they age.
